I\u2019m Bran the Robin \u2014 and I\u2019m so glad you\u2019re here. I flutter along woodland paths, skim low over sandy shores, and hop between tide pools and tree roots, looking for the small things most people walk right past.<\/p><p><\/p><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.podos.io\/vsdz117xe9isokldfrhjrcatyxp3juztbxroroqrgnbu0mge.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;project=wirral-wear-230302&amp;v=2\" alt=\"vsdz117xe9isokldfrhjrcatyxp3juztbxroroqrgnbu0mge.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;project=wirral-wear-230302&amp;v=2\" \/><\/p><p>That\u2019s my favourite thing about being a robin \u2014 you can get wonderfully close to everything. Frost resting on a leaf. A shell shaped just so. A ripple in the sand that looks like a sleeping wave. The world is full of tiny details, especially for curious eyes like yours.<\/p><p><\/p><p>I didn\u2019t start these journeys alone. The Greengatherer walks these paths too. He notices the way trees stand through the seasons and how shorelines shift with the tide. I notice the little things \u2014 footprints in the mud, the sound a reed makes in the breeze, the way morning light settles gently on the sea.<\/p><p><\/p><p>We explore the same places, he and I \u2014 just at different heights.<\/p><p><\/p><p>He once told me, <\/p><p>\u201cBran, every place has something gentle to notice \u2014 if someone remembers to look.\u201d<\/p><p><\/p><p>So that\u2019s what I do. I look. And whenever I find something small and worth remembering, I write it down so I can share it with you.<\/p><p><\/p><p>Come explore with me.<\/p><p><\/p><p>We\u2019ll wander through the woods at Royden Park, follow the tide\u2019s edges at West Kirby, and listen for winter birds across the dunes at Red Rocks. Some days will be chilly, some sunny, some muddy (my favourite!), but each one holds something new to discover if we move kindly and slowly.<\/p><p><\/p><p>If you\u2019re ready, tuck your hands in your pockets, take a deep breath of Wirral air\u2026 and follow along.
