Tap… tap… tap… It sounds almost like the lake is answering each step with a tiny winter “hello.” Look how still the water is today; it’s smooth as glass, with the thinnest edge of frost sparkling along the side.

Come stand beside me here on the walkway’s edge. See that pale rim around the water? The lake has dressed itself in a delicate ribbon of ice—so thin I can almost see shadows through it. When the breeze arrives, the ice makes a tiny humming song, like winter whispering a secret only we can hear. Let’s lean a little closer (but keep our feet cosy on the path!)—listen… do you hear it?

Look just here by my claws… a single frozen bubble caught in the clear edge! Perfectly round, like a tiny winter moon. When the sunlight touches it, it glows faintly gold—as if morning left a lantern burning just for us. It won’t stay long. Winter loves making treasures that melt away when the day warms.

If you crouch down (I’ll hop with you!), you’ll spot even more—feathery cracks, soft spirals, tiny frozen ripples that look like someone sketched the water while it slept.
